"The medication
I take for gout regulates outbreaks for the most part. I still have
one to two bouts of gout every year. I have a very sensitive stomach
too. Because my stomach does not like oral pain relievers, I have to
look for other ways to help ease the excruciating pain that occurs
when I do have a gout attack. Sometimes I know when I am about to
have an attack. I am proactive at those times and use Blue Emu
Original on my toes and feet.
Later when the attack causes more pain, I'll use the Menthol version
instead of taking Tylenol, Aleve, or Advil" -

Joint pain, or anthralgia can occur as a
result of an injury to the ligaments, tendons, cartilage, or bursa
surrounding the joints. Joint pain can also be a result of inflamed
ligaments, cartilage, and bone in the joint. Infection, arthritis,
and tumors can also be a cause of severe joint pain. Sometimes blood
flow is restricted or cut off from a specific area within the joint
causing joint pain. This condition is called
osteochondritis
dissecans and often limits the joint's natural range of motion.
